Manchester United has received proposals from agencies seeking to develop the commercial strategy for its proposed 100,000-seat stadium, with sponsorship, naming rights, ticketing and premium hospitality among the key areas under consideration.

According to SportBusiness, which reported the development exclusively, the club issued a request for proposals (RFP) inviting agencies to outline how the commercial potential of the planned venue could be maximised.

The RFP closed in recent weeks, with agencies submitting proposals covering several revenue-generating areas.

The report highlights the growing importance of commercial planning as United considers the future of its stadium, including the possibility of selling naming rights to the venue.
