14.10.26, 08:14 5 Minute Read
Lisandro Martinez is affectionately known as ‘The Butcher’ by Manchester United fans and the Argentine went studs up on a failing hierarchy in the wake of the latest depressing, if inevitable, defeat.
The likes of Jason Wilcox and Omar Berrada will still have been licking their wounds when Martinez dropped his bombshell TV interview following the 2-0 reverse at Atletico Madrid. ‘I expect more from our technical director,’ said Martinez to a no doubt shocked Gabriel Clarke.
After all it is not every day a World Cup winner playing for England’s most talked-about club decides to go nuclear on those that employ him.
